Natasha Rogers
Owner/Teacher - Jazz, Contemporary and Ballet

Natasha has been dancing since she was 3 years old and began full-time dancing training at the age of 16, graduating in 2016. Natasha has since become a freelance dancer, choreographer and teacher; working on different projects each year throughout Newcastle, Sydney and Canberra. Natasha has been teaching at The HVDC since 2018 and has taken over running the school in 2021. 

Suzanne Pettit

Teacher - Ballet and Character

Suzanne has been dancing from the age of 6 years.

She has studied The Royal Academy of Dancing method as well as the Cecchetti method. Her experience is extensive and has involved a professional performing career abroad and in Australia, as well as teaching dancing in its varied forms: Classical, Contemporary, Character, Jazz and Dance For Parkinson's.

Suzanne was the founded of the school in 1985 and continued running the school up until 2020.

Elizabeth Ernst

Assistant Teacher - Jazz and Contemporary

Elizabeth is in her third year of the Bachelor of Education (Primary) at The University of Newcastle. She has been a student at HVDC for over 18 years and currently does Jazz and Contemporary, her favourite style if contemporary. Elizabeth is an Assistant Teacher at HVDC and covers classes when needed.

Molly Mahoney

Student Helper - Ballet and Character

Molly is an 18 year old student at HVDC and has been since 2008. She has always done Ballet but has enjoyed learning Contemporary and Jazz in her recent years. Molly finished year 12 last year and currently works at Sprout Catering whilst also being a Student Teacher in Ballet.

Lilah Critchley

Student Helper - Jazz and Contemporary

Lilah is a 14 year old student at HVDC making her our youngest student teacher. She has been at HVDC for 10 years now and does all styles that the dance school offers. Lilah has a flair for fashion and a love for dance. Lilah does her student teacher role in Jazz and Contemporary.
